Greg Cargin Becomes Firm Partner

Gardiner Thomsen CPAs take great pleasure in announcing the promotion of Greg Cargin to the role of Partner in our firm, joining our other 6 partners. Greg has been a valuable asset to our firm over the past 14 years and demonstrates outstanding dedication to our clients.

Greg joined the firm in July 1998, soon after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa and passing the CPA exam. Over the years, he’s worked in three of the four Gardiner Thomsen offices in Iowa and South Dakota. Greg returned to the Sioux Falls office in September 2005, and in 2006 (after coercing her into moving back to Sioux Falls with him) married his wife Renee. They now have two boys, Austin (3 years) and Devin (8 months). When he’s not in the office, Greg enjoys golfing, bowling, bicycling, spending time with his family, and watching and attending sports events. Greg will continue to reside in the Sioux Falls office location. Please join us in congratulating him!
