Bio
Paul Archer started with Gardiner + Company in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Science from Morningside College in 1982, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Computer Sciences. Paul enjoys working as a CPA with Gardiner because it allows every day to be different from the last. The job allows him to work with a wide range of individuals and share his knowledge of grain and numbers with the coops.
Hobbies
Paul volunteers in Storm Lake, Iowa, as an Administrator for the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge. When Paul is not working you can typically find him at the Moose Lodge, golfing, relaxing, or doing what he loves most, working on the farm.
Expertise
Paul specializes in audit, reviews and taxation for cooperatives. He is an active member in AICPA, ISCPA and NSAC and is licensed in both Iowa and South Dakota. Not only does Paul like working with cooperatives and grain, but he is a farmer himself. He enjoys working on the farm, which gives him a unique perspective when working with agribusinesses.
My background in agriculture gives me an extra level of trust with my clients. I’m a farmer too—I speak their language, understand their concerns and share their perspective. It makes for a great partnership.
