Bio

Mark Gardiner started working with the Company in 1982. He was promoted to Partner in 2003 after working for the Company for over 20 years. He attended college at Drake University and the American Institute of Business. He graduated in August of 1982 with a degree in Accounting. In May of 2022, Mark graduated from Peru State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

Hobbies

During his free time, Mark enjoys golfing and spending time with his family - his wife Margie, two sons Alex and Jakob, and his daughter Megan. He is an avid Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Blues Hockey fan. Mark served as a board member for 13 years on the Waukee Parks and Recreation Board and as a board member and coach for the Walnut Creek Little League for 15 years.

Expertise

Mark specializes in ag-related businesses, especially farmer cooperatives. He is a CPA licensed in Iowa and Missouri, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the Iowa Society of CPA’s, American Institute of CPA’s, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. Mark enjoys the creative thinking process in working with management and the board of directors on the challenges facing their companies. He loves working with the down to earth people in the ag industry.
